Precisely, a developed holistic worldview is the foundation for forming conscious, deep spiritual needs, which in turn become eternal sources of motivation for maximum self-realization and a meaningful, fruitful life.
The primary property of life's self-preservation in the history of evolution on Earth subsequently formed the sensation of pain and fear in living beings. As the human intellect's capabilities evolved, people began to realize their mortality, and since it contradicts "deep needs for self-preservation," it was perceived very painfully and gave rise to deep existential anxiety. The problem of managing the fear of death arose. Apparently, the "wise men" of that time, to solve this problem, resorted to inventing and systematizing mythology and mystical teachings, representing death as a transition to another, eternal life. Perhaps these tools helped the people of that era overcome these fears and find existential peace.
For arguing the theses of metaphysical naturalism, it is not at all necessary to define the beginning of time, the finiteness of the Universe, or how a living molecule appeared on Earth, other facts indicating the natural causeless development of events are more than sufficient: life on planet Earth could not have originated; evolution has no purpose; mass extinctions in the history of life; the vast number of extinct species; the specifics of the life of hominids and the earliest humans; the function of the human mind at its inception; the high probability of the extinction of all life, not only in the past but also today; the entire logic of human history; all its sufferings, pains, and achievements; the continuity of the appearance of various teachings and moral norms, and much more.
The thought that "in the Universe, there likely already exist or will definitely form advanced sublime intelligent beings" arouses delight and increases spiritual satisfaction.
