The mind crafts the moral code and continually refines it, while the conscience, once it accepts this code, oversees its adherence. The most crucial point is that the findings of the mind must be correct, and the eyes of the conscience must be eagle-eyed.
For various reasons, not every person may be able to reach the highest level of personal development, yet they can and should live their life without causing harm to others, and thereby fulfill their minimal human duty to their conscience.
