The property of the first cell of life determined the orientation of biological life towards self-preservation. Perhaps in it lies the primary root of basic negative human qualities, anti-human relations, and conflicts in the world of people. Yes, primarily thanks to this property, people overcame the initial barriers to development and reached a civilized level, and further, to our happiness, they more actively and consciously enriched their lives with moral-spiritual values. Nonetheless, modern humanity is still very spiritually weak, and without deep knowledge of the roots of negative moral qualities and manifestations of everything anti-human, we will not be able to overcome them. And only by overcoming them will we be able to preserve the human race.
The primary property of life's self-preservation in the history of evolution on Earth subsequently formed the sensation of pain and fear in living beings. As the human intellect's capabilities evolved, people began to realize their mortality, and since it contradicts "deep needs for self-preservation," it was perceived very painfully and gave rise to deep existential anxiety. The problem of managing the fear of death arose. Apparently, the "wise men" of that time, to solve this problem, resorted to inventing and systematizing mythology and mystical teachings, representing death as a transition to another, eternal life. Perhaps these tools helped the people of that era overcome these fears and find existential peace.
There is more humaneness within humans than its opposite. If it were not possible to eliminate their negative traits through education and self-improvement, the human species would not have been able to survive. However, as we can see, they have overcome these negative traits for their own development and created an astonishing history.
